So much to do... and so little time to do it all in...
Finally was able to register for college this semester- but I had a heck of a hard time trying to do it. They had a hold on my account and it was impossible to get off. XP Luckily, there's at least ONE good councilor at my school and she was able to help me out. So I registered on Friday, just in time for classes to start this tuesday! Woot! (Okay, so in reality, I really thought I was going to die and that there were not going to be ANY classes left. It was like: EPIC FAILURE! signs were pointed right at me. Don't worry, I somehow preservered. ^_~) UGGHH!!! I HATED how EXPENSIVE this years tuition was though. I thought I was going to die when I saw that four digit number screaming at me, that's not including my books... I have a lot to do in very little time to actually get ready for college on Tuesday...
I'm worried about how hard this semester is going to be, I just hope I can somehow pull through it. That is, with GOOD grades. I did finally decide on my major though. I am planning on being a High School level AP Literature teacher, with a double minor in American Sign Language (ASL), and Fashion Design. I'll have to eventually transfer to another school, seeing as the university I'm going to doesn't offer everything in my minor's that I'll be needing to minor in them. Either way, because of that, I'll be going to school for 10+ years. *BLECH!*
I think college is also going to be a little harder this year because all of my friends are either on missions, married (ie. dead or dropped off the face of the earth)or M.I.A. Not to mention work has been really HARD lately- but I don't want to go into details because I only want to think about work when I'm at work. ^_~ So I hope I'm going to at least have some kind of a social life. I guess an artist's life is meant to be lonely though, no? ^_~ One more key factor that is going to be a HUGE challenge is that my boyfriend is going to another college this year before he goes on a mission.
For those of you who didn't know, yes, I have a boyfriend. In fact, I've been dating him for a year, seven months and 12 days. (He's a genius and was being really cute and figured it out in two seconds when the subject came up once). So him moving away for the year is going to be a reall challenge for me, maybe not so much as him, but that's just what I think. Honestly, I think it's because he'll be so close, but so far appart at the same time. I think that when he's on his mission I'll have an easier time than I think I might this year.
He is an incredible person, and not just because he's good looking. Know how that "Perfect Guy/Prince Charming" doesn't exist? That's a lie. Because I found him. (Sorry ladies, back off, he's mine). At least he's MY Prince Charming. He's EVERYTHING I've ever wanted in my dream guy and more. He's smart, funny, adventerous, he knows how to have fun- but he's not immature, kind, a gentleman and so much more. The tall, dark and handsome part doesn't hurt either. ^_~ It's not surprising to me that he already has a new fangirl club up at his college. (No, I'm dead serious about that part). Point being through all my rambling though is that he's a sweetheart and I'm really going to miss him. So I'm really going to have to keep myself busy this year and just do my very best not to just be upset that he's gone and learn and grow. Enough of my cheesey-ness though. Just wish me luck. ^_~
In other news, my freaking awesome purple Nikon Coolpix camera has gone missing. SAD DAY/ NO BUENO CATEGORY written all over it. So... if found, please return. XD (Pretty sure it's somewhere in my mess of a room- otherwise- it REALLY SUCKS that it's gone missing. NOT. COOL.
But, I finally got a new pen for my tablet. I don't remember if I ever wrote about it, but in short my old pen for my tablet broke and we had a very hard time trying to track a new one down for my Graphire 4 tablet because that brand is no longer being made. I was scared to death that nothing would work and that we couldn't find a pen. Some of the Bamboo pens are said to work on the kind of tablet I have though, and it turns out it's true, because that's what kind of pen I have. I was/am estatic over it. So you can all start to expect digital art from me once again! XD
Don't worry, I haven't forgotten about any of my traditional art here just yet. In fact, many of the commisions I said I was working on are now finished, I just have to put them up. Problem is, I'm lazy and my scanner is S--L--O--W-----! Meh, I'll get them up one of these days though.

Who isn't sick of school yet though right? What makes it even worse is that for me where I live, it's still WINTER. Or at least it looks like it. It's supposed to be a full blown spring right now, but the weather isn't cooperating. The snow is almost all gone though, which rocks, but I still wish we actually had green grass and flowers blooming. The birds are back though, so spring isn't too far off I guess. Just a long time in getting here.
