I know I have commented on this before but I tend to do very poorly in keeping up a journal. It has been a long time since my last update. As far as updates go, I have a few exciting points. I have been hired on as an English teacher at my dream school, we are finally moving out of our apartment into a townhome, and I have started leading educational tours around the world. Next year we will be visiting Europe, and the year after will be Japan! These are all very excited and some long awaited updates for me. 

As far as my art goes, I am still drawing and painting. I simply don't have much uploaded as of late. This is something I need to work on. I have also been working on more of my writing. Not so much short stories, but actual books. I may post a few spoiler pages for fun the closer I get to publishing.

For those of you who don't know, I'm a laxer. For those who don't know what that is, it's a person who plays Lacrosse--Lax--(aka, the most epic sport ever invented). Because I am a laxer, it's rare that I have much free time between my schooling, work, and practices and games. I have been super busy with Lax lately because we've had a lot of games. it's my first year actually playing the sport, though I have followed it. We haven't won any games yet. Most of our girls have never even played before. I am included in that list.

So far, I've played both the positions of low attack and defender. For being a first year player, I feel like I did a pretty good job in both positions. As attack, I took a blow to the chest from the lax ball, just so the girl on the other team wouldn't get it. mind you, those balls are NOT soft. As a defender, i finally figured out how it worked defending and not attacking towards the end of the game, and game off with some pretty good blocks. I also came off with a battle bruise. I was proud. During my last game as defender, I also dodged out of the way of a girls stick. She kept sticking it in my face after the whistle was blown for a foul, and it was really ticking me off! I was playing D, and the ball was still in their possession. The ball would not have been thrown towards me, so there was no reason to push her stick in my face. So, out of spite, and as defender, when the whistle blew I ducked under her stick and charged the girl who the ball was passed to. The best part was I made that same girl miss her shot. The look on 'miss-stick-in-my-face's'  expression after was priceless. So, as you can see, I've been having a lot of fun.

School has also kept me way busy. Trying to get through math is a nightmare. Who else feels my pain? But sign language has been fantastic. I'm getting ready to do my final. For it, we have to pick a fairy tale and sign it. It also can't be a simple fairy tale, like The Three Little Pigs, either. I honestly am not sure what to choose. My thoughts are that I could pick from these fairy tales to sign:

A short story fairy tale by Robin McKinley (like The Princess and the Frog--the only problem is someone else in my class is already doing a version of that fairy tale. Any suggestions on others?)
A Brother's Grimm tale
The Swan Princess

Basically, I am struggling with what I should choose to sign, and if you can't tell, I'm hoping to hear some feedback on what you all think would be a cool story.

In other news, I've discovered a lot of new recipes to make, and I need to get them up on my blog. So for those of you who follow my blog and have joined my forum, keep a look-out for those recipes. I am also eager to try out even more recipes, so if any of you have some you think are good, feel free to share them!

Hey all!

Again, it's been a while, but howdy!

Anyway, this entry is probably going to be a little short, because I'm just going to ask for tips and advice. I am looking into making a paypall account. I'm a bit nervous about creating one. I want to know everything-all the ups and downs, twists and turns, and loopholes-before really getting into it. I've done some research on it already, but I want to be sure I've got all my facts straight. So, my request is for those who know anything about paypall to spill all here. Post a link if you would like to any helpful information you might know of. Give me your opinions and tips!

Yeah, yeah. I KNOW it's a FB link. Get over it and listen to the goodness.

Pretty much there's an annual Renaissance Fair this weekend where I live. I Love it. I go to it every summer. is actually the person who introduced me to it, and we'll be going together for the heck of it. XD

The fair is loads of fun, and I always dress up for it.

The problem is that this year I don't know what to go as. I have three options, but can't choose from them. So, I'm beseeching my fellow deviants for help/advice. Which costume do you think would be the best?

A) Go as a Greek Goddess.
Pros: -it's an awesome dress that I altered myself and am proud of.
-A lot of people like said dress
Cons: -A Greek Goddess is what I went as last year. With the same dress. Can I do that again?

B) Go as a Noble.
Pros: -The dress is black, and very sleek with very long sleeves
-I could wear my awesome boots with it
Cons: -I've worn this one before too (Although it was a few years ago.)
-Not positive if it will fit me right (might have to do last minute altering).
-It could get really hot.
-The heels might spell out death for me.

C) Go as a Fairy Princess.
Pros: -Haven't done this before
-The crown is pretty and has lots of long ribbons on it.
-The dress is cute.
Cons: -I don't have shoes that would go with it. (I'm a match freak, okay?)
-It doesn't have sleeves and I don't want to get sun burned (Sunblock won't help me. I'm allergic. Horrible thing to be allergic to, really. >:/)
-Might have to alter this one too.

Advice/suggestions? I would love to hear your input!
